KU Master's programs in business administration among top ten in CHE ranking

The Center for Higher Education Development (CHE) has published a new ranking in which it takes a particularly close look at Master's degree programs with an economic focus. For Master's students at the KU's Ingolstadt School of Management (WFI), the courses on offer are among the top ten in Germany. In the opinion of the respondents, the WFI's Master's programs in business administration rank in the top group in the surveyed sub-areas. This confirms the consistently high quality of teaching at the KU, as the courses were already given such a positive rating in the last Master's ranking three years ago. The new comparison of Master's programs covers more than a dozen different criteria – student assessments and facts. According to the CHE, more than 11,000 students nationwide took part in the current survey.

The Master's students surveyed at the WFI praised not only the general study situation, but also the variety of courses on offer, the opportunity to choose individual specializations and the coordination of course content. Respondents at the WFI also rated positively that there was no overlapping in required courses and the resulting short duration of study as well as the size of the courses. The same applies to the availability of lecturers, their teaching skills (both face-to-face and digital) and their ability to take criticism. During their studies, the interviewees experience a significantly higher level of help with networking among students and particularly appreciate the support they receive during their studies with subject-related and organizational questions as well as the accessibility of teaching materials. They also positively evaluated the wide range of opportunities to participate in research projects during their studies and the inclusion of current research findings in the courses. In comparison to the average, WFI students in particular describe the practical relevance and the relevance of the courses for later professional fields as particularly pronounced. Those who also want to gather experience abroad are also in good hands at the KU, according to the respondents: They feel that the support and advice for a semester abroad and the accreditation of work completed there, the placement of international internships or help in finding financial support for stays abroad are significantly stronger.

A Master's program at the Ingolstadt School of Management offers the opportunity to deepen already acquired knowledge and to expand it further in a meaningful way through interdisciplinary fundamentals. One specific feature is the ethics section, which is firmly anchored in the curriculum. The wide range of options allows students to focus on one or more specialist areas – from corporate management and tax to psychology and economics.
