International Guest Professors during Summer Term

The Chair of Tourism is happy to welcome three international digital guest professors in its master courses during the summer term 2021. Those interested are invited to join the lectures.

In the course "Entrepreneurial Networks and Startup Management", Prof Lian Dumouchel from the canadian Thompson Rivers University will be our first guest. She already joined our introduction lecture on April 21 and will speak about  "Opportunity Recognition" and "Evaluating Entrepreneurial Opportunities" on April 28. On May 5 she will introduce the broad topic of "Business Setup, Startup and Growth". The classes start at 18.15 Uhr via Zoom, those interested please use this link.

To guests will join our course "Innovation and Product Development in Tourism". On May 19 at 11.30, Prof Michael Volgger from the australian Curtin University in Perth will speak about a topic that is yet to be confirmed. One June 2 at 14.00, Dr Markus Schuckert from University of New Orleans in Louisiana, United States, will discuss "The Future of China Outbound Tourism: Challenges and Opportunities". The two guest professors mentioned above will also be guests in "Theory and Strategy in Destination Management and Marketing". On May 31 Dr Markus Schuckert will talk about the topic of "New Perspectives for Strategic Destination Management".
