The Chair of Tourism and the Center for Entrepreneurship work on current issues related to tourism and entrepreneurship research. Due to the interdisciplinary orientation and the mutual affiliation with the Faculty of Mathematics and Geography (MGF) and the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (WWF), the focus is equally on geographical and economic issues.
Research and teaching benefit equally from the spatial competence of geography on the one hand and the product and market competence of economics on the other. In this field of tension, one of our core competences is the active exchange with regional, national and international network and cooperation partners.
