Information about the studies

Information for foreign nationals

Studierende

All foreign applicants (including EU citizens) have to file an application for admission in any case:

•   For the summer semester: by January 11th 
(usually, start of studies only possible for higher semesters of a program),

•   For the winter semester: by July 15th or (for Fachhochschule degree programs) by June 15th 

of each year. 

The application for admission shall be addressed directly to the KU Student Office at Studierendenbüro der Katholischen Universität Eichstätt-Ingolstadt. 

If you are a foreign national but have gained your university entrance qualification in Germany, the same enrollment modalities as applicable to Germans shall apply – no foreign national application for admission is required.
