The certifcate program is open to all students who are enrolled in a Master's degree program at KU. Through a combination of specialized courses, you acquire additional subject-specific skills and are offered the opportunity to set an individual focus. The certificate programs can also include modules from your degree program, which may reduce the number of modules required.

“Sustainability in Business” is a co-curricular accompanying study program. Students gain comprehensive technical knowledge and essential skills that enable them to actively participate in the design and implementation of sustainable business strategies. The content taught covers a wide range of topics, including ecological, economic and social aspects of sustainability. Particular emphasis is placed on the practical and evidence-based application of the acquired knowledge, so that students are able to successfully implement sustainable measures and projects in various business areas.
A central element of the additional course is the promotion of critical-analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Students learn to recognize complex challenges in the field of sustainability and to develop innovative solutions that are both ecologically compatible and economically viable. Additionally, the importance of interdisciplinary cooperation and communication is highlighted in order to effectively drive sustainable change.

Targeted at all Master's students at the WFI, "Digitalization in Business" provides an excellent foundation for careers across various industries and fields where digital thinking and action are increasing in importance. Graduates of this program are well-prepared to play a pivotal role in the digital transformation of businesses, leading them successfully into the digital age.
"Digitalization in Business" is a co-curricular supplementary study program. Through this program, students acquire both fundamental and advanced knowledge, along with the skills necessary to actively shape and implement digital transformation within organizations. The curriculum covers a several topics, including digital strategies, IT infrastructures, data analytics, and the implementation of digital technologies. A particular emphasis is placed on the practical application of theoretical knowledge, ensuring that students are capable of successfully executing digital projects across various business domains.
A key component of the program is the development of analytical and creative problem-solving abilities. Students learn to identify digital challenges and to develop innovative solutions that are both technically feasible and economically viable. The Consulting Badge programme is an additional course of study at the WFI Ingolstadt and prepares students specifically for a career in management consulting. Through a combination of specialised courses and direct contact with consultants from leading consulting firms such as Bain & Company, Deloitte, BearingPoint, Simon Kucher and Capgemini, you will have the opportunity to gain deep insights into the industry and become part of a valuable network.
The programme is aimed at committed, determined and team-oriented WFI Master's students who are ready to gain exciting experience and set their career course.
The Consulting Badge programme is a co-curricular additional certificate. Over a period of three semesters, students can gain insights into the world of management consulting alongside their Master's degree programme. Through a harmonised combination of university modules and events with our partner companies, students have the opportunity to optimally prepare themselves for a career in this industry.
Participation in this programme requires the successful completion of a selection interview (via Zoom) in addition to the application for a Master's degree programme. Admission to the Consulting Badge is not automatically granted with admission to a Master's programme. Registration for the selection interview can take place at the same time as or before the Master's application. The selection interview is conducted together with a practice partner. However, the decision on admission to the Consulting Badge programme is made by the professors present.
