The Deutschlandstipendium is a great opportunity to help committed students financially, to support them and to create a basis of trust between sponsor and scholarship holder.
This year, 27 students at the KU were supported with the grant, which is topped up by the federal government. 3 of them are Ali Guliyev, Farkhan Mustafazade and Nigar Ismayilova, Data Science students at the Mathematical Institute for Machine Learning and Data Science.
For the first time, professors at the MIDS have jointly funded a Deutschlandstipendium. This will benefit the student Ali Guliyev from the 4th semester.
The scholarship for Farkhan Mustafazade and Nigar Ismayilova was donated by the Willibald Schmidt Foundation Beilngries.
