MIDS would like to express its gratitude for the support provided by the “Förderverein Georgianum Ingolstadt.” This association provides both moral and financial support to the institutes of the Faculty of Mathematics and Geography established at the Georgianum and the Hohe Schule, and in special cases, to those of the other faculties at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt. In particular, it promotes their academic research and teaching activities. The association strives to spark public interest in these topics, deepen awareness of the historical significance of the first Bavarian state university—with the Georgianum and Hohe Schule—and, overall, make the continuity of higher education in Ingolstadt more visible.
