From trade to auditing: Broad range of companies represented at WFI Talent Fair

Students were able to secure an internship position, a working student position, an occupation as a trainee or a direct job entry at the WFI Talent Fair on November 9: Companies from the trade, consulting or auditing industries lined the foyer at the Ingolstadt campus. Students had the opportunity to find out about career opportunities at the booths of the company representatives or to take advantage of a one-on-one interview arranged via app.

The different companies had lined up table after table – and inbetween: plenty of students who has numerous questions for their potential future colleagues. Andrea Siebert fom Bearing Point was pleased with the great interest: “So far, we have only met motivated students – we had a couple of one-to-one talks and were able to win some contacts for us.” The diverse range of students and their programs met with particular enthusiasm: “Like this, we can expand on the diverse character of our teams .”

Lina Ebert from MediaMarktSaturn also talks about having had exciting discussions: “Many lovely students and graduates who are very interested in new positions. We have also arranged a couple of talks via the “Talentefinder” app, which worked really well for us.” Talentefinder (talent finder) is an app that generates matches between students and companies prior to the event.

This helped WFI in reaching its main objective of bringing students and companies together with the Talent Fair. Some of the guests to the event even expressed their interest in participating in a future event – for example Ms. Siebert from Bearing Point: “I am looking forward to participating again next year.”
