Requirements for written work in English Linguistics

• In all kinds of written work in English Linguistics (essays, term papers, final theses, book reviews etc.) please follow our style sheet.
• In addition, there are special requirements for all papers based on empirical linguistic data.

BA thesis

The following staff members are happy to supervise your BA thesis (or "Zulassungsarbeit") in English Linguistics. If you are interested in writing your thesis with them, get in touch and arrange a meeting at least one month before you would like to start working.

The required length for BA theses is 25,000 words.

MA thesis

• If you are interested in writing your MA thesis in English linguistics, please talk to Prof. Dr. Hoffmann.
• The required length for MA theses is 35,000 words.
