Center for Literature-related Media Analysis (ALM)

Personen in der ALM

The Center for Literature-related Media Analysis (ALM) profiles Eichstätt's focus on “Literature in Intermedial and Media-historical Contexts” in research and teaching. This center provides the ideal technical basis and space for researching, teaching, and learning about film adaptations of literature, intermediality, and media convergence. It serves to impart skills in media handling and analysis, which are becoming increasingly important in academia, the public cultural sector, and teacher training.
By providing a recording studio and an editing/production facility, this center can record working materials and produce working copies, film stills, and film excerpts as needed for research, final degrees, and written assignments. This work center is intended to provide ideal support for media-related courses in German Studies, Modern German Literature, German for teaching degree programs, and other subjects in the subject area, as well as for the degree programs Aisthesis. Cultural and Media Studies and European Studies.

The ALM is open as needed, so please make an appointment to use it.
