Meeting point: Entrance to the canteen rooftop terrace in Eichstätt

• Arrival and invitation to a shared Weißwurst breakfast (with a vegan option)

Starting at 10:00 a.m.: Welcome

Location: Eichstätt canteen, 1st floor

• 10:00–10:05 a.m.: Welcome by our Vice President for Studies and Teaching, Prof. Dr. Klaus Meier
• 10:05–10:15 a.m.: Presentation of the program & information on the KU alumni project (Claudia Reng & Nina Savarini)
• approx. 10:20 a.m.: Group photo (University Communications Department)

Starting at 11:30 a.m.: Exciting insights into the University

11:35 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.: Interesting developments at the KU (Vice President Prof. Dr. Klaus Meier)

12:00 p.m. – 12:15 p.m.: “Education for Sustainable Development in Uncertain Times – or Why We Need a Future-Oriented Approach Right Now!” (Prof. Dr. Jan Hiller, Professorship of Geography Didactics and Education for Sustainable Development)

12:15–12:30 p.m.: “Outlook on Academic Continuing Education at the KU” (Jessica Stang, Coordinator of Academic Continuing Education, MIB)

12:30 – 12:45 p.m.: “What’s Happening Behind the Construction Fences – Information on the Comprehensive Renovation of the Main Buildings” (Laura Reutter, Project Manager for Renovation of Main Buildings)

Starting at 1:00 p.m.: Time for Community & Highlights at the Open Day

On our Open Day, there will be guided tours of the campus and specific KU buildings that you can join. Or you can sit in on a taster lecture and listen to talks on interesting topics. Perhaps there’s a workshop that interests you, or you can stop by student initiatives, information booths for degree programs, and open events.

Or you can spend time together at the KHG bar Theke in Eichstätt to celebrate your reunion and reminisce about your wonderful university days over drinks and light snacks.
