The Examinations Office at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt is periodically asked to nominate students with excellent academic and examination results for the application processes of various support programs or for scholarships, such as the Max Weber Program, the German Academic Scholarship Foundation, the Bavarian Elite Academy, etc.
The Examinations Office conducts the preliminary selection of eligible students based on their academic performance; the final selection for a potential scholarship or other form of funding is made by the funding organizations or scholarship foundations themselves.
Since the Examinations Office must determine the current academic standing of the respective student for the preliminary selection and must transmit the necessary personal data to the funding organization (name, mailing address, KU e-mail address, date of birth, number of semesters completed, GPA), the Examinations Office requires the student’s consent to disclose this data in order to ensure data protection.
If you wish to participate in a funding program or be considered for a scholarship based on your academic performance, and if you agree that we may nominate you for admission to a student funding program and, for this purpose, transmit your personal data listed above to these funding organizations, you must confirm your consent via KU.Campus by clicking the “My Personal Data” button. You can revoke your consent at any time via the “My Personal Data” button on KU.Campus.
If you have not given your consent at the time of preselection, you cannot be nominated for the corresponding funding.
