Once you have successfully completed all modules required in accordance with the examination regulations, including your final thesis, and all grades have been fully recorded in KU.Campus, you may request that your degree documents be issued.
Please use the specific certificate application form for your degree program. You can find this on the KU website under the information for your respective degree program. Please check against the examination regulations applicable to you to ensure that you have completed the application in full.
Please submit the fully completed application via the contact form under the “Final Academic Record” category to the Examinations Office.
Modules that you have completed in addition to those required by the examination regulations can be certified as so-called additional course achievements in an appendix to the transcript of records. A prerequisite for listing these modules as additional course achievements is that you were enrolled in the degree program in which these modules are to be listed on your transcript while completing these additional modules. Please list these modules in your transcript request.
The graduation date corresponds to the day on which the last piece of assessed work as specified in the examination regulations (e.g., written examination, written assignment, or submission of the final thesis) was fulfilled. Additional requirements are not taken into account. The following deadlines apply for semester assignment:
The Examinations Office processes certificate requests in the order in which they are received. Please refrain from inquiring about the status of your request so as not to delay the process.
Incomplete applications result in longer waiting times.
