Every year, prospective students have the opportunity to get to know the KU during the lecture period. You can explore our campus, talk to our students and lecturers, and above all, get a taste of our degree programs and participate in our courses!
Lecturers at our locations in Eichstätt and Ingolstadt will open the doors to numerous study programs and subjects, and afterwards, you can talk to students and get to know professors.
We invite you to come and get a taste of what we have to offer on Tuesday, November 18, starting at 2 p.m., and all day on Wednesday, November 19.
You do not need to register for our taster days. However, we kindly ask you to first visit our information desk on the taster days. There you will receive a guest student ID card, a map, and information about the program and the University.
At the Eichstätt campus, you will find the information desk directly at the main entrance in Main Building D (in the foyer below the Aula). In Ingolstadt, the central information desk is located in the entrance area of the Main Building.
The lecturers will recognize you in the courses by your guest student ID card. If you wish, you can also briefly introduce yourself to the lecturer before the start of the course. In order not to disrupt the ongoing teaching, we ask you to arrive punctually for the respective courses.
The central information desk at the Eichstätt Campus in the entrance area of the Main Building is staffed on Tuesday from 12 noon and on Wednesday from 7:45 a.m. If you are on the Eichstätt Campus before 12 noon on Tuesday, please report to the University Communications Office. The office is located on the ground floor of the Sommerresidenz, on the left-hand side (room 003). You will then receive your guest student ID card here.
At the Ingolstadt Campus, the central information desk in the entrance area of the Main Building will be staffed on Tuesday from 1:30 p.m. and on Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. If no one is at the desk, please come to room Main Building 206.
If you do not have the possibility to attend the taster days on campus in person, you can check out various online taster lectures.
In addition, the KU offers other events such as the Digital Open Week in March 2026 and the Open Day in May 2026 to get to know the degree programs, lecturers, and campus.
Learn about degree programs online, ask questions, and get information from the comfort of your own home from March 2 to 6, 2026.
