The KU – A university for the whole school community

We have the right program for everyone: whether individual school students, an entire class, an entire grade level, or teachers. At both campuses of the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt, we invite interested individuals to immerse themselves in our research and teaching practice. We tailor your stay with us to your preferences —after all, we want you to feel at home within our KU family and benefit from our University’s close ties to the region. You’ll find an overview of our offerings below. Of course we’re also open to alternative program requests.

School students can visit our University for a guided tour around campus, get to chat with our Study Advisory Services, have lunch at the canteen, subscribe to a newsletter for interested prospective students or plan an internship at our University Library. Teachers of secondary schools are invited to attend workshops offered by our Center for Teacher Education (KU ZLB) in order to learn how to ideally prepare their pupils for professional or university life. In addition, schools also have the option of inviting representatives of the KU over to their schools for a presentation either of the University as a whole or just specific subject areas that interest the students most.

To highlight the importance that the KU places on collaborating with schools, our University has launched the KU School Network. This network consists of various educational institutions and partners who have set the goal of fostering knowledge transfer. You can find an overview of all members here.
