Not just studying politics, but actually helping to shape it—from local to global decision-making processes: That’s exactly what fascinates me about the Bachelor’s program in Politics and Society at the KU. It’s personalized, hands-on, and offers real opportunities to contribute your own ideas.

As part of my studies, I am completing a German-Italian double degree in Eichstätt and Trento. In this program, I examine current political and social challenges from various perspectives – ranging from local debates to global conflicts. The small class sizes at the KU allow for in-depth discussions and personalized supervision.

Bachelor Politics & Society

For anyone who wants to understand how societies function – and why they sometimes fail. The Bachelor's degree program combines Political Science and Sociology with five specialization tracks and the option to choose between an international or research-oriented focus.

Admission & application

This degree program has no admission restrictions – you do not need to submit an application. Simply enroll directly through the KU university portal in August or September. If you earned your university entrance qualification abroad, please also submit your preliminary examination documentation by July 15 – also using the same portal.

Campus Eichstätt

Eichstätt combines a Baroque old town with canoe trips on the Altmühl River, open-air movies in the summer, and festivals such as the Altstadtfest and the Lichternacht—here, everyday student life meets a genuine zest for life.

Accommodation and living

Finding a place to live is part of planning for uni – whether it’s a dorm, a shared apartment, or your own apartment. Anyone coming to Eichstätt or Ingolstadt to attend uni should start looking for housing early.
