KU Scouts

Our KU Scouts are studying exactly what interests you – and provide you with honest insights straight from their everyday uni life.

Sustainability is not a contrast to the economy; rather, it is the economy’s future. With its diverse range of topics, this degree program helps students learn how to design business models and policies that allow us to thrive economically without exploiting our planet.

Bachelor Sustainability in Business & Economics

The economy is changing – the Sustainability in Business & Economics program equips students with the tools to shape it through skills in economics and the social sciences, with a focus on environmental and social responsibility.

Admission & application

This degree program has no admission restriction – you do not need to submit an application. Simply enroll directly through the KU university portal in August or September. If you earned your university entrance qualification abroad, please also submit your preliminary examination documentation by July 15 – also through the same portal.

Campus Ingolstadt

Ingolstadt is the second-largest city in Upper Bavaria after Munich – and has a lot to offer culturally. Open-air concerts, the AUDI Forum, numerous museums, and Bavarian folk festivals make the city a vibrant place to study, with much more to offer than just everyday university life.

Accommodation and living

Finding a place to live is part of planning for uni – whether it’s a dorm, a shared apartment, or your own apartment. Anyone coming to Eichstätt or Ingolstadt to attend uni should start looking for housing early.

Financing your studies

Students at the KU finance their studies in various ways – from BAföG to scholarships to part-time jobs. You can find an overview of all the options on the page about financing your studies.

Uni life

Whether it's culture or sports, the academic year is filled with a wide variety of festivals and events. Unifest, Dies Academicus, the Wiesncup, and many more: at the KU, celebrating and community are an integral part of student life.

What other students say about the program

For the fourth time and once again in first place: Students have voted the KU Eichstätt-Ingolstadt the most popular university in Germany for 2026 on Studycheck.de
