Lukas wants to use his tax-related knowledge to answer tricky financial questions and support others: “I want to familiarize myself with tax issues, solve them in a team, and thus work out ideal solutions for my clients in the future.” To achieve this professional goal, the 22-year-old is studying for a Master's degree in Taxation at the Ingolstadt School of Management (WFI) at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt (KU).
“What particularly excites me about the world of taxation is its diversity”, explains Lukas. He appreciates the challenge of constantly familiarizing himself with new laws. He is particularly fascinated by the interface between IT, AI, and taxation. “It is becoming increasingly important. By covering it in various modules, such as ‘Tax Function 4.0,’ the program perfectly prepares us for the professional world in various fields.”
The main topics covered in the Taxation program motivated Lukas to choose this Master's program at the KU. “I consider them important for my personal future. I also really appreciate the friendly and personal atmosphere here.”
After completing his studies, Lukas would like to obtain his tax advisor qualification and then work in a law firm: “My education will enable me to work in a team at a large law firm or to practice independently at a small law firm.”
