Legal advice & tenant protection

Legal advice is offered for KU students by the following law firms in Eichstätt and Ingolstadt on their premises:

The consultation covers all areas of law. Any further advocacy activities that go beyond the conversation, such as drafting letters, representation in court or before authorities, preparing legal opinions, etc., require a separate mandate from the person concerned.
Students are required to pay a deductible of 5.00 euros at the legal office immediately when starting the consultation. The remaining costs of the legal advice are taken over by the Sozialwerk and settled directly with the law firm. If you require legal advice, please contact one of the two offices listed above, arrange an appointment and present your valid student ID. The legal office will record your student ID number.

Please note that legal advice is only offered in German. If you do not speak German, please bring an interpreter with you to the appointment.
