During the orientation weeks, we would like to give you a first introduction to studying at KU and to your degree programs and subjects.

Orientation Weeks will begin on October 5, 2026 with the General Freshman Orientation at 9:00 a.m. in Room KGA-201.

Our Restart Festival is back for its 6th edition!
On October 9 and 10, 2026, we’ll be celebrating our 6th Restart Festival together on campus! As always, you can look forward to high-energy concerts, delicious food, and awesome activities. This way, every student—whether a freshman or a veteran—can kick off the new semester in a great mood!
The Restart is a festival by students, for students, and gives you the chance to experience the campus from a different perspective and meet new people!

Welcome, Connect & Explore – International Welcome Event
Welcome to KU!
The International Office invites all newly enrolled international students at the Eichstätt campus
on Monday, October 12, 2026 from 1:30 pm, place: Sommerresidenz
to join our International Welcome Event. Attendance is mandatory for exchange students.
The event will begin with an introduction to KU’s Language Center. You will learn about its language courses, participation requirements, and everything else you need to know before signing up for a course.
Afterward, you are invited to a small reception. This is your chance to connect with other international students and discuss your questions directly with Language Center instructors and International Office staff.
Still have some time and energy left? Join our city rally and discover Eichstätt in a fun and slightly different way. Guided tours are great—but a rally is even more fun!
