During the orientation weeks, we would like to give you a first introduction to studying at KU and to your degree programs and subjects.

Orientation Weeks will begin on October 5, 2026 with the General Freshman Orientation at 9:00 a.m. in Room KGA-201.
Welcome, Connect & Explore – International Welcome Event
Welcome to KU!
The International Office invites all newly enrolled international students at the Eichstätt campus to join our International Welcome Event. Attendance is mandatory for exchange students.
The event will begin with an introduction to KU’s Language Center. You will learn about its language courses, participation requirements, and everything else you need to know before signing up for a course.
Afterward, you are invited to a small reception. This is your chance to connect with other international students and discuss your questions directly with Language Center instructors and International Office staff.
Still have some time and energy left? Join our city rally and discover Eichstätt in a fun and slightly different way. Guided tours are great—but a rally is even more fun!
