Open Access Publishing: Introduction
Open Access pursues the goal of making research results available on the Internet without restriction and free of charge – for science, for the public, without any barriers.
The KU supports open access. However, implementation in practice is complex: new journals and surprising business models are emerging and with them many questions, such as the soundness of journals, the financing of publications or legal aspects. The KU Open Access Team at the University Library therefore works closely with you. We merge your experience, follow new developments and support you with your questions.
With our "Open Access Publishing: Introduction" we give you an initial overview of the various publication channels, funding opportunities as well as the services and Open Access infrastructure at the University Library.
Target group: Students, doctoral candidates, post-docs, academic staff
Duration: 45 minutes / once per semester
Language: German
Format: Online
Lecturer: Dr. Anne Müller
Registration: Registration via KU.campus required (registration link in the event)
