Andrea has been part of the Economic Geography working group since 2017. Between April 2019 and March 2020, she has been a research associate at the Center for Latin American Studies (ZILAS) at the KU. She has studied Geography, Sociology and Anthropology at the University of Heidelberg and the National University of Colombia, Bogotá. In her master thesis, Andrea has analysed the application of the so-called Import Replacement by Jane Jacobs to the textile industry in Turkey and Mexico. Her current research focuses on Sustainability Transitions using the example of the German market for battery storage systems.
