Lukas Adolphi studied International Area Studies - Global Change Geography at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg and worked as a research assistant at the Leibniz Institutes of Regional Geography and Agricultural Development in Transition Economies during his studies. In his master's thesis, he examined the history and present of nutrias in East Germany, placing colonial power structures, industrial modes of production, and modern world relations at the center of his analysis. Following on from this, he hopes to contribute further to the research field of more-than-human geographies with his PhD.
