Welcome to the website of the Assistant Professorship Digital Finance!

The Junior Professorship of Digital Finance at WFI offers exciting courses at the intersection of traditional finance and digitalization: the courses Digital Finance (lecture + exercise) and Webscraping & Textual Analysis in Python (seminar) in the winter semester, and the course Behavioral Finance (lecture + exercise) in the summer semester.

In addition to traditional economic and financial topics, research at the junior professorship is dedicated in particular to the digital transformation of the capital market, the influence of digital, user-generated content on capital market participants and the possible use of cryptocurrencies to conceal international capital flows. As part of a DFG project, for example, the use of generative AI in investment advice and management is being investigated.

If you have any questions, please contact Prof. Dr. David Streich.
