Project Course: Marketing with New-Age Technologies (Master, Winter)

Course content: The project course is about working out for yourself how cutting-edge technologies can be used in marketing and how marketing is changing as a result. This includes, for example, artificial intelligence, robotics, blockchain technology and the Internet of Things. Each year, the course focuses on a specific technology, which participants study in depth.

A joint project course with the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich (Univ. der Bundeswehr) is planned for winter semester 2024/25, with interdisciplinary group work. In winter semester 2024/25, the technology that is the focus of the course is the area of Extended Realities (Virtual, Augmented, & Mixed Reality). 

Course format: The exact structure of the course changes each year based on the technology in focus. The course takes place in seminar form, with regular meetings on the current status of the projects, interim presentations and occasional lectures. The examination in this course is a portfolio of individual and group work. The main part of the portfolio is a semester-long project work in groups with a final presentation.

Target group: The course is aimed at all WFI Master's students (e.g., MARKT, ENTRE, DICE, BAOR, Business & Psychology).
