French Consul General visits WFI Ingolstadt School of Management: Promotion of Franco-German university cooperation

The French Consul General in Bavaria, Alexandre Vulic, together with the Attaché for Science and University Cooperation for Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg of the French Embassy, Dr. Emmanuel Delille, visited the Ingolstadt School of Management (WFI) of the KU. The focus of the meeting was the presentation of the German-French double degree programs and the exchange with the University's students.

During their visit, the guests praised the KU's close cooperation with renowned French partner universities such as the Toulouse School of Management (TSM) and the Toulouse Business School (TBS). These collaborations enable students to complete an internationally recognized education while also gaining intercultural experience as part of double degree programs.

Among the KU representatives attending the event were Prof. Dr. Jens Hogreve, Vice President for Research, and the research associates and doctoral students Louisa Schneider and Sandra Miederer, who coordinate the double degree programs. Dr. Simon Märkl, Head of the International Office at the Ingolstadt campus, and Franziska Rast, Advisor and Coordinator for Student Advisory Services, also took part in the meeting. Jade Alonso and Richard Makowski, students of the Digital Customer Experience & Service Design Master's degree program, which the Ingolstadt School of Management offers together with TSM, also took part to share their experiences.

The visit concluded with a comprehensive tour of the campus and city of Ingolstadt.
