Teaching Award („Preis der Lehre)

The Teaching Prize („Preis der Lehre“) is awarded each year by the student representatives of WFI to a professor and a research assistant who have distinguished themselves through very good teaching and correspondingly high results in the teaching evaluation. The evaluations are based on the courses taught in the last two semesters.

In July 2020 Prof. Dr. Shashi Matta was awarded with the "Preis der Lehre". The award list three courses that Professor Matta taught over the previous two semesters – Innovation & Creativity (Master’s), From Idea to Commercialization (Master’s), and Brand Management (Bachelor’s).

Furthermore, Katharina Hartinger, doctoral candidate in Macroeconomics, received the Teaching Award. In courses such as "Economics of Innovation", "Economics of Education" or "Introduction to Economics", Katharina Hartinger provides insights into economic methods and new research results.
