The prizes for outstanding theses will again be awarded at the graduation ceremony. Master's theses and dissertations can be proposed by the supervising chairs until October for the City of Ingolstadt's promotional prizes, each of which is endowed with 1000 euros.

Papers submitted and evaluated between September 1, 2021 and August 30, 2022 may be nominated for the awards. At the time of nomination, the disputation or viva must already have taken place. The supervising chairs can recommend particularly promising projects to the selection committee by October 7 by sending an e-mail to Prof. Dr. Alexander M. Danzer (anna-maria.schuster@ku.de). In addition to the thesis in digital form, a curriculum vitae in tabular form, a written statement of reasons and a summary of the thesis of three to four pages must be submitted. The theses are then evaluated according to their research question, methodological and scientific approach, practical and scientific relevance, and critical reflection on the results of the work. If you have any questions about the award or the nomination, please contact Franziska Rast (franziska.rast@ku.de).
