As part of the federal-state and government program for early-career researchers, the KU is filling a total of seven tenure-track professorships focused on digitalization.

Digital data and media are everywhere today. Digitalization is still in its infancy; it is now increasingly beginning to permeate and reshape every aspect of our lives. Harnessing its enormous potential—which has so far been only partially tapped—in a way that yields benefits, while developing it responsibly, is one of the central challenges of our time.
