The Eichstätt Chair of Didactics of Religion, Catechetics and Religious Education is in close academic exchange with the Chairs of Religious Education at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich (Prof. Dr. Mirjam Schambeck sf) and the Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg (Prof. Dr. Konstantin Lindner).
At the beginning of each year, ongoing dissertation and habilitation projects are presented and discussed in a joint advanced seminar.
The seminar took place from 26 to 27 January 2023 at Schloss Hirschberg. A total of 15 people attended. The following research projects were discussed in intensive and productive discussions:
- Theresia Witt (Bamberg): "Kirchenpädagogik 2.0?! - Professionalisation of prospective RE teachers for VR church pedagogy. A qualitative-empirical study" (PhD project);
- Dr Mariusz Chrostowski (Eichstätt): "Religious Education and its Alternative Subjects: Religion as an Object of School Education in the Horizon of Didactic and Philosophical Reflection on Religion" (Habilitation Project);
- Elisabeth Fock (Munich): "Adolescents' Images of the Human Being - Empirical Assurances on Adolescents' Understanding of Corporeality" (PhD project).
