The occasion of the meeting was a multi-day symposium of the worldwide network "Uniservitate" in Rome. The Eichstätt delegation at the symposium, titled "Service-Learning and Global Compact on Education: Educating for Fraternity in Higher Education," included Christiane Hoth de Olano and Kris Holler, who coordinate the Uniservitate project at KU. Also in the group were Marcel Teppich, Marion Haak-Schulenburg, a research assistant in the Department of Music, and Thomas Sporer, head of the Education Innovation and Knowledge Transfer Office.
