Due to the possibility of ordering books from all departmental libraries to the Main Library (ZB), delivery times may vary. To save you unnecessary trips to the Main Library, we will notify you by e-mail as soon as your orders are ready on the pickup shelf.
Please consider the following times:
- Books from the stacks of the Main Library (shelfmark prefix e.g.: 00/, 06/): Pickup on the next working day at the latest if the order is placed before 4:45 p.m. Orders received after 4:45 p.m. on Fridays can usually be picked up from Monday.
Experience shows that faster delivery is rarely used but requires a lot of staff.
If you need something urgently, please contact the service and information desk in the Main Library (Tel. +49 8421 93-21492). - Delivery of books from other locations for pickup in the Main Library (Main Library reading room, Departmental Library Ulmer Hof, Departmental Library Aula, Rebdorf stacks): up to one week.
In a hurry? Books from the reading rooms can be borrowed directly at their respective locations.
