The University Library will have modified hours from August 3 to October 11 in Eichstätt and from July 31 to September 25, 2026, in Ingolstadt.

Starting April 13, 2026, extended opening hours will once again be in effect at all University Libraries:

From March 23, the direct footpath between the interim building and the Main Library will be temporarily closed due to construction work. Access to the Main Library via the main entrance will remain available, a detour footpath will lead around the construction site.

Due to construction work in the open-plan office of the Ingolstadt branch library, the lounge and group study room are unavailable for use. In addition, there may be occasional construction noise.

To access licensed electronic media from the University Library via a VPN connection, KU members will need a new VPN certificate from February 1, which will be provided by the University Computer Center.
