End of the 3G rule, masks still mandatory

From April 3, 2022, access to the university library will again be possible without 3G proof. The obligation to wear an FFP2 mask still applies. Masks may be waived at the assigned workstations in the reading rooms, but in view of the high incidence, wearing a mask is also recommended here.

In order to comply with the distance regulations, only a limited number of visitors can be in the reading rooms at the same time. We issue admission tickets for access control, which you receive upon presentation of your KU.Card or your library card (the original!) and which you must return when you leave the library. These admission tickets also assign you to one of the numbered work stations. Please only use this space.
Please note: The admission tickets will be booked in your library account with the loan period for one day. If you do not return the admission ticket when you leave the library, a reminder will be sent to return it. In the case of overdue fines, it is unfortunately not possible to borrow an admission card and thus access the reading room.
