Christmas Break

From December 21, 2024 to January 1, 2025, and from January 4 to 6, 2025, the University Library will be closed.

On January 2 and 3, the Main Library, the Ingolstadt Branch Library and the Departmental Libraries Aula and Ulmer Hof will be open until 5 p.m.; the Departmental Library Hofgarten will be open by appointment.

On December 20, 2024, the Ingolstadt Branch Library will be open until 5 p.m., the Main Library and the departmental libraries will be open as usual.

If you need books over the Christmas break, please remember to borrow them in good time.

• Please order books from the closed stacks in the Main Library by December 18, 2024, so that we can have them ready for you to pick up in time.
• Orders from our departmental libraries and from the closed stacks in Rebdorf may take up to a week and may not be made available to you in time before the Christmas break. You can borrow books from our reading rooms at the respective locations yourself.

The closing days or shortened opening days of the University Library are not included in the loan period. The loan period ends on January 9, 2025, at the earliest. Please check your OPAC user account to view the deadlines for returning your borrowed items on time or extend the loan period.
