Christmas Break

From December 24, 2022 to January 8, 2023, the University Library will be closed at all locations as well as all University Buildings.

On December 23, the Main Library will close at 8 p.m., the Departmental Libraries Aula and Ulmer Hof and the Ingolstadt Branch Library will close at 6 p.m., the Hofgarten Library Hofgarten will close at 12 p.m. From January 9, 2023, the reading rooms and lending facilities will be open again.

If you need books during the Christmas break, we kindly ask you to borrow them in time. Please note:

• Please order books from the closed stacks in the Main  Library by December 22, 2022, if possible, so that we can have them ready for you to pick up in time.
• You can borrow books from our reading rooms at the locations yourself. Orders from our departmental libraries and from the closed stacks in Rebdorf may take up to a week and may not be made available to you in time before the Christmas break.

The days that the University Library is closed are not counted towards the loan period; borrowed books must be returned from January 9, 2023 at the earliest. In your OPAC user account, you can see the deadlines for returning your borrowed titles on time or extend the loan period.
