On Tuesday, August 29, 2023, the water will need to be shut off the whole day for water line reconfiguration work as part of the general renovation of the campus buildings.
During this time, water will also not be available in the Main Library.
Water will not be available in the following buildings at this time:
- Main Building A-E (KGA-KGE; Art, Sports Center / Students House, Auditorium, Music)
- Front Office Ostenstraße 28a (O28a)
- Mensa (Canteen, Cafeteria)
- Main Library / Universitätsallee (UA)
Please note that the toilets cannot be used during this period either. The nearest buildings with an intact water supply are the Sommerresidenz (SR, Management / Administration), the Waisenhaus (WH) and the Kapuzinerkloster (Kap). The toilets of the VfB-Sportheim ("Kabinentrakt") on the opposite side of the street can also be used on this day.
The Main Library will be open as usual for your convenience. Borrowing, returning, studying and working in the reading room are possible. All other library locations are not affected by this restriction.
