Reading room collections (reference collections)
- Lending period: 1 week, renewable up to 3 times, reservation possible
- A total of up to 5 titles from the reference collections can be borrowed at the same time

Textbook and school book collections (17/ and 16/)
- Lending period: 4 weeks, renewable up to 5 times, reservation possible
- Up to 10 books of each collection can be borrowed at the same time

Magazine stock
- Lending period: 4 weeks on books, 2 weeks on journal volumes, renewable up to 5 times, reservation possible
Ingolstadt

- Lending period: 1 week, renewable up to 5 times, reservation possible

Renewal
You can extend the loan period of your borrowed media yourself in your library account. Under the tab "Loans" you will find all media that you can extend.
An extension is possible at the earliest 5 days before the end of the loan period, provided that the loan period has not been exceeded or the item has not been reserved by other users.
If another user makes a reservation for a title that you have borrowed, the extension period may be shortened and a prompt return may be required. In this case, you will receive a return request by e-mail. The item must then be returned by the shortened loan period end date at the latest.
If, in exceptional cases, renewal via your account is not possible, please contact the Central Information.
You can extend the loan period of your borrowed media in your library account in OPAC. Under "Borrowing" you will find all media that you can renew.
Renewal is possible at the earliest 5 days before the end of the lending period, provided the lending period has not been exceeded or the item has not been reserved by other users.
