Databases: The Database Information System (DBIS)

Start your search in DBIS

Databases are important sources of information for in-depth thematic research. They contain articles from magazines and congress publications, statistics, facts and much more.

In the database information system (DBIS) you will find our entire range of scientific databases from all subjects. You can access all databases licensed by the University Library of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt and also all databases that are freely accessible on the Internet.

Have the databases displayed sorted by subject or search for the name of a specific database, the database type or the type of use. Searches in titles and descriptions of contents can also help you to select the databases relevant to your research.

Searching for essays is possible within individual databases.

All database licensed by the UB Eichstätt-Ingolstadt can be accessed on all networked PCs in the library and on campus. Most databases can also be accessed from home after authentication for KU members, a limited range also for registered users of the university library. For more information, see "Online access to electronic media".
