Carrels

Would you like to write your thesis in peace? Then you can rent a work carrel in the Main Library.

For three months, students who are writing a habilitation, dissertation or master's thesis can move into one of the cubicles, leave working materials and books there and also borrow books from the reference collection. If you need more time you have the option to extend the carrels.

Due to the high demand, it is possible that you will be placed on a waiting list. Please apply for your carrel using the form:

Mobile storage container in the Departmental Library Ulmer Hof

You don't always want to carry your documents for your thesis to the library and back home?
In the reading rooms of the Main Library and the Departmental Library Aula we offer our students the option of renting a reading room locker; in the Ulmer Hof you can rent a mobile storage container. Use this opportunity to leave books and work materials in the library for a longer period of time. Both lockers and containers can be rented free of charge for 3 months with the option to extend this period.
