Disseminating academic research as well as managerial insights to key stakeholders, locally and internationally, has been a key goal of the Chair of Innovation & Creativity.

Both shared impulses on “Future Work Skills, Personal-Anforderungen der Zukunft,” with business and development representatives from Region 10 (Ingolstadt, Eichstätt, Neuburg-Schrobenhausen, Pfaffenhofen a.d. Ilm).

Prof. Dr. Shashi Matta and doctoral candidate, Maximilian Bauer, were invited to conduct a LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Workshop on “Future Planning,” for 70 managers, by CARIAD, a Volkswagen Company. The automotive software company bundles the VW Group’s entire software competencies.

Invited by the Toulouse Business School (TBS) in France, Prof. Dr. Shashi Matta and his co-author and doctoral candidate, Maximilian Bauer, presented their current research on “The Effects of Exposure to Inequality and Product Scarcity on Consumers’ Willingness to Pay and Negotiate” to professors and doctoral students at the Innovation and Social Marketing Lab at TBS.

Volkswagen Startup Community, Germany, July 2022

Volkswagen featured Prof. Dr. Shashi Matta as part of its 12th Startup Community Event where he conducted a workshop on Disruptive Innovations and Technologies. He provided insights on how to disrupt the future, grounded in academic research and practical examples. Participants included members of Volkswagen’s thriving internal Startup Community.

Munich Tech Days (Industry Event), Munich, Germany, June 2022

The Munich Tech Days event welcomed Prof. Dr. Shashi Matta as a featured speaker to talk about “Disrupting the Future: The Will and the Vision for Innovation”. The goal of this event was to drive digital innovation by stimulating exchange between industry experts, founders, researchers, scientists, and artists.

Bologna Business School at the University of Bologna, Italy, March 2022

Prof. Dr. Shashi Matta was invited to make two research presentations at the University of Bologna. The Department of Management at the Bologna Business School (BBS) featured Professor Matta in a Research Seminar where he presented his research co-authored with Professor Valerie Folkes (USA), titled, “The Person Brand Effect and the Role of Product Innovation.” He was also invited to present in a Doctoral Research Session where he shared his expertise on Experimental research in a presentation titled, “Behavioral (Experimental) Research: Trends, Requirements, Do's and Don'ts.”
