Promotion of scientific exchange between Bavaria and France
As part of start-up financing, BayFrance supports the development of projects in research and teaching as well as the development and expansion of sustainable and lasting research cooperation between Bavarian and French universities and research institutions. This promotion includes mobility grants for university teachers, post-docs and doctoral students.

Starter-Kit Bayern-France
Students from Bavarian and/or French universities, who are planning a study visit or a research internship in Bavaria or France, can apply for a mobility grant. The funds serve as additional mobility allowance and cover additional costs shortly before and at the beginning of a student mobility phase. The subsidy amounts to one time 500, - € plus a location-dependent travel allowance (study location in the home country / study place in the partner country) up to a maximum of 450, - €. Company internships can not be funded. All students of Bavarian and French universities are eligible to apply.
