Just remember how the murder of conservative activist and influencer Charlie Kirk was handled in the summer of 2025. Even the incumbent US president made an appearance. But religion and politics are not only connected on the evangelical side. Catholics are now also involved – think of Vice President JD Vance, for example. The speaker spent a long time in the US conducting research and teaching (including at the University of Notre Dame in Indiana). The evening event aims to provide an insight into the situation in the US.
