Research stay at the Indian Statistical Institute in Hyderabad

Prof. Pirmin Fontaine spent the past 2 weeks at the Indian Statistical Institute in Hyderabad, India.

There he had the opportunity to discuss current challenges in the field of urban logistics with the researchers, doctoral students and postdocs on site. He also gave a seminar on the topic of branch-and-repair for bin packing and selection in e-commerce.
The stay was sponsored by IGSTC and supported a joint research project with Prof. Sujeet Kumar Singh.
