Generative AI is increasingly used throughout the research process, from literature review to data analysis and manuscript writing. This workshop provides an opportunity to explore its potential and limitations through hands-on activities. In the first part, you will complete concrete research tasks using AI tools and assess the quality and reliability of the outputs. In the second part, we will step back to consider broader questions: When does using AI become irresponsible? How do existing guidelines apply in practice? What does it mean to maintain scientific integrity when AI is involved? The workshop aims not to offer fixed answers, but to help you develop your own judgment on when and how to responsibly integrate generative AI into your research.
The objective of this workshop is to equip researchers with the skills and judgment to responsibly integrate generative AI into their research.
