Dieser Kurs ist für Personen konzipiert, die Interesse an methodische Grundlagen der Statistik und Datenanalyse haben und einen allgemeinen Einblick in deren Anwendungsgebiete gewinnen möchten. Alle Themen werden allgemein behandelt und ohne Software (z.B. R oder Python) eingeführt. Kurze interaktive Quizzes während des Kurses sollen das Verständnis der Kursinhalte festigen. Die beigebrachten Methoden werden anschaulich mit Praxisbeispielen motiviert.
Voraussetzungen: Zumindest grundlegende Kenntnisse in Mathematik und grundlegendes Verständnis der Datenanalyse

This course is designed for people who are interested in methodological basics of statistics and data analysis and want to gain a general insight into their fields of application. All topics are covered in a general way and introduced without any software (e.g. R or Python). Short interactive quizzes during the course will consolidate the understanding of the course content. The methods taught are motivated with practical examples.
Prerequisites: At least basic knowledge of mathematics and a basic understanding of data analysis
