You would like to take a peek behind the scenes of companies and universities and discover locations that are usually not easily accessible for everyone? The “Ingolstadt Business and Science Night” will take place on April 20, 2018 from 5 pm to 12 am. More than 15 companies and scientific institutions in Ingolstadt, Kösching and Großmehring will open their doors for the general public. Visitors can experience technology, science and innovation, arts and culture in multifaceted presentations, experiments, guided tours, and exhibitions.
The program of the KU will take place on the campus of the WFI. Visitors can gain insights into experimental psychology, discuss ways to achieve a sustainable and humane digitalization, gather ideas about how Smart Cities should look like in the future or discover a new, hands-on approach towards mathematics. A brief career coaching on campus will reveal visitors’ strengths and weaknesses. Panel discussions, lectures, a sequence of the play “Electronic City” by Falk Richter, Economic Games or the business simulation game “MIT Beer Distribution Game” will provide an entertaining evening for all visitors. Get inspired by religion and spirituality and learn how to convince your counterpart in an Elevator Pitch. Furthermore, the city of Ingolstadt and iCONDU GmbH will also be present on our campus, focusing on digitalization and sustainability – two topics which are also intensively discussed at KU: The Fairtrade Commissioner of the City is inviting visitors to a discussion about fair clothing, while a short speech and a booth by iCONDU deal with complexity in daily life. Many booths present activities where visitors can join in directly. In case you get hungry, the FAIRELLA food truck will offer wraps made out of regional ingredients and without plastic packaging!
The participation in all events is free of charge and there will be a free shuttle-bus service between the participating organizations.
