Guest Lecture Prof. Dr. Erik Stam, Head of Utrecht University School of Economics

The Chair of Tourism / Center for Entrepreneurship proudly welcomes Prof. Dr. Erik Stam as one of the most cited researchers on entrepreneurial ecosystems at Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt.

The entrepreneurial ecosystem approach has been heralded as a new framework accommodating transitions in regional policies for entrepreneurship from increasing the quantity of entrepreneurship towards the quality of entrepreneurship. The approach starts with the entrepreneurial actor but emphasizes the context of productive entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship is not only the output of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, entrepreneurs are important players themselves in creating the ecosystem and keeping it healthy.

Prof. Dr. Erik Stam will hold his lecture in the course Entrepreneurial Management and Tourism. The lecture is open for any student or staff of Catholic University Eichstätt-Ingolstadt.

Date and venue:
Monday, 10.12.2018 | 12:15 – 13:45
