Invitation to Guest Lecture on Global Innovations for Zero Hunger by World Food Programme (WFP)

On January 21st, we invite all interested students, faculty, and staff to Sanjna Sudan's guest lecture that provides inisghts on the World Food Programme and its Innovation Accelerator

As part of the lecture on Digital and Sustainable Business Models, the Chair of Service Management is pleased to invite you to a guest lecture on Global Innovations for Zero Hunger.

We are delighted to welcome Sanjna Sudan from the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) and its Innovation Accelerator. In her talk, she will provide insights into WFP’s global initiatives to combat hunger and present innovative approaches addressing food insecurity at the intersection of technology, sustainability, and social impact.

The session will explore the linkages between ecological and social sustainability, showcase practical innovation cases from different regions, and discuss how innovation can contribute to tackling global challenges. The lecture will conclude with an open discussion and Q&A.

About the speaker
Sanjna Sudan is an award-winning communications professional at WFP’s Innovation Accelerator in Munich, where she leads communications for innovations focused on food systems, climate resilience, and smallholder farmers. She has worked across India, Germany, and the UK, collaborating with startups, governments, and social innovators. Her work has received international acclaim, including recognition from the Webby Awards’ Anthem Awards.
