Just study business administration? This is not the aspiration for our students and our study program. For us, "Just business" does not only mean "purely business", but also means entrepreneurial action in a socially responsible manner and in accordance with ethical principles. But how do you envisage a business studies course that, in addition to purely imparting business knowledge, also addresses the question of the social dimension of business and the social responsibility of companies? Are current theories and teaching concepts suitable at all for adequately addressing these questions? And what does the "social responsibility" of companies actually mean? Do the market, competition and entrepreneurial action have an ethical intrinsic value, or must they first be made moral by politics and society?
